The resource person will be Mr. Amit Sharma and Mr. Ajay Kumar.They will give the demonstration, how you will use this software for designing and drafting of a building. A workshop on Ethical Hacking for B.Tech(CSE) 5th sem. and 7th sem. is being scheduled on 10th November,2016 at MERI-CET Campus by NorthCap University,Gurgaon. It is mandatory for all the students to attend the workshop.

AICTE is organizing a seminar on "Smart India Hackathon '17" that is being scheduled on 9th November, 2016 at Teen Murti Bhavan, New Delhi. This initiative is in line with the Modi government's focus on digital technology and involving youngsters in tackling challenges being faced by the country.

A workshop on Embedded Robotics for B.Tech(EEE,ECE) is being conducted on 18-19th October, 2016 at MERI-CET Campus in association with Efficient India Pvt. Ltd. The intention of this workshop is to provide a environment by which students can practically examine and understand the Line Following Robot, Phototropic/Obstacle Follower Robot, programming of microcontrollers.

A Seminar on CV writing and Personal Interview is being scheduled on 20th September, 2016 at MERI-CET Campus in association with Times Institute,New Delhi. Mechanical Engineering students made a HYBRID CAR and their project got recognised by Global Exhibition on Services (GES) and their Hybrid Car displayed in INDIA EXPO CENTER & MART, Greater Noida on 23rd April 2016.

A seminar on Cyber Security and its Trends was held in the afternoon of 23rd Sept., 2017 at MERI-CET, Sampla, Bahadurgarh. The Seminar was conducted by the resource persons of Networkers Home. Mr Yoginder Singh Negi, Vice president, Mr. Laxmi Kant, BDM and Ms. Pooja Pandey, Assistant Manager – Training. The students of B.Tech & BBA from all streams of all semesters attended the seminar. Mr. Negi had discussed in depth about cyber security & its trends applicable in networking industry. The entire session was quite interactive. About 100 students participated in the seminar. Networkers Home had distributed the certificate's to the students.

A seminar on Soft Skill Training and Personality Development was held in the afternoon of 12th Sept., 2017 at MERI-CET, Sampla, Bahadurgarh. The Seminar was conducted by the resourse person of Demonte Education Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon, Mr Sandeep Grewal, International Soft Skill Trainer. The students of B.Tech & BBA from all streams of all semesters attended the seminar. Mr. Grewal discussed in depth about communication skills, body language, effective decision making, group discussion, interview skills, effective resume & cover letter writing. The entire session was quite interactive. About 250 students participated in the seminar.

A seminar on Digital Transformation and Digital Marketing was held in the afternoon of 7th Sept., 2017 at MERI-CET, Sampla, Bahadurgarh. The Seminar was conducted by the resourse persons of NIIT, Mr Harish Kaul, Manager – Sales and MrVikram Kumar Jha, Assistant Manager – Sales. The students ofB.Tech& BBA from all streams of all semesters attended the seminar. Mr. Kail and Mr. Kumar discussed in depth about digital transformation and marketing fundamentals applicable in Industries. The entire session was quite interactive.About 200 students participated in the seminar.

The resource people were Mr. Altaf and Mr. Ananda Chowdhary. It was started at 11:00am & finished at 2:00pm. The seminar was attended by students of B.Tech (CSE, EEE & ECE) streams. They know about the Big Data Development with Hadoop in depth and how it works in Industry. The students were asked their queries and doubts in the end of the session. The entire session was very interactive.

It was started at 11:00 am & finished at 1:00 pm. These students were from B.Tech (CSE, EEE & ECE) streams of their 4th & 6th semesters. They know about the App’s Development in Android in depth and how it works in Industry. The entire session was very interactive.

A seminar on design software (CAD/CAM, SOLID WORKS, NX, PRO-E, and CATIA) for B.Tech(ME) 5th sem. and 7th sem. was conducted on 25th November,2016 at MERI-CET, Sampla, in association with CADD Centre Vikaspuri, New Delhi. There were four key person from CADD centre having the specialization on different software's started the session.They had given the demonstration of various designing software's to the students and also told the various applications of these software's in real world. After the seminar an aptitude test was also conducted. The entire session was very interactive.

The resource persons were Dr. Yogita and Dr. Supriya from NorthCap University, Gurgaon.They had presented and debated on the major issues involved in Ethical Hacking like virus generation, key logger, to break the passwords, to remove the malicious code and different aspects of Ethical Hacking. The entire session was very interactive.

AICTE organized a seminar on "Smart India Hackathon '17" that was on 9th November 2016 at Teen Murti Bhavan, New Delhi. Dr. Sachin Suryan, HOD, CSE Dept., MERI-CET attended the seminar. He gave a brief scenario of this event to the students and faculty members. He said, the chief patron was honourable Shri Prakash Javadekar, HRD Minister, Govt. of India. "Smart India Hackathon '17" is a 36 hours non-stop digital programming competition during which student teams will compete to offer innovative solutions for any given problem statement. This competition may be held in february, 2017 and our college may be the part of this event through student participation.

A two-day Advanced Robotic Workshop was conducted for the students at the MERI College, Sampla from 18-10-2016 to 19-10-2016. This workshop was organized by the Department of EEE, ECE (MERI college, Sampla) in association with Efficient India Pvt. Ltd. Department of Electronics is the key for the very successful development of this workshop.

For MERI-CET, B.Tech (5th and 7th Semester) students, a special lecture on “CV writing Personal Interview” was organized by the Department of Applied Science in association with Times Institute, New Delhi on 20th August 2016. Prof G.N Mishra Academic, Head of Times Institute, New Delhi delivered the seminar. Objective of this seminar was to help and train and provide tips to the students to write a summary of their skills, abilities and accomplishments to introduce them to a potential employer. The difference between CV, resume and bio data was explained to the students. Moreover, expected questions and how to present before an Interview Board was discussed with the students.

A special guest lecture on Project Management was held on 7th September, 2016 at MERI-CET, Sampla, Bahadurgarh. The resource person was Mr. Naveen Kumar, site Engineer, NKG Infrastructure LTD. The seminar was based on improving the estimation skills that are highly required to estimate the cost of civil engineering project. Topic of the seminar was as follows:- • Estimation of required building material • Estimation of time duration of project • Estimation of manpower required according to time availability • Basic knowledge of CPM and PERT • Reading of master drawing chart • Find out the most important float • Basic conversion units The entire session was very interactive. We hope that, by this seminar students would be able to understand that how they could manage or improve their skills that are required for project management.

A seminar on SAP & ERP was held on 1st September, 2016 at MERI-CET, Sampla, Bahadurgarh by High Technologies Solutions. There were four resource person from High Technologies Solutions who were, Mr. Sachin Kataria, Manager, Mr. Arjun Bhandari(SAP Consultant & trainer), Mr. Soumya & Mr. Sonu(Technical Assistants).It was started at 9:45 am & finished at 11:30 am . There total strength of students were 175. Their response was very good. These students were from B.Tech (CSE, CE, EEE, ECE & ME) streams of their 3rd, 5th & 7th semesters. They know about the SAP & ERP in depth and how it works in Industry as SAP consultant. At the end, Mr.Sachin Kataria, Manager,High Technologies Solutions, had distributed the certificate's to the students.
